about the artist

April English is a Kentucky born textile artist. Her work with a tufting gun explores colorful and abstract themes to bring uniqueness, color, and character into everyday life. English makes fiber art such as wall decor, coasters, and other funky oddities for every home!

She is a 2020 Western Kentucky University honors college grad with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Making rugs was a natural move for English during the lull of 2020 which unexpectedly blossomed into thousands of creations that have sold around the world.
